Entrepreneurs, and wealthy in the extreme, Faison Quay VI and his partner, Dr. Stark Redfearne, take two of their closest friends and embark for South America aboard one of their company's cruise ships only to have their plans quickly changed by a suspicious and disastrous event in their Toronto neighbourhood. Upon confirmation that it was a deliberate act to destroy valuable medical records held by their friends, Faison engages his personal and corporate resources to discover the who and why behind the crime so as to solve the mystery behind the total destruction of their close friend's home. From clue to clue the picture evolves, leading to one recurring word found midst the records that serves as the key to opening carefully concealed family crimes, scandal, intimidation, murders and attempted murders by a prominent politician in an effort to protect his family's reputation and the destruction of his political career.
