North of the Pier: A Murder Mystery

Skylar Tirnov is found hung in his chi chi LA night club with a wad of money and a huge diamond in his pocket. Detective Marcello Prado and former CSI Connie Cane work with the CIA and foreign services to follow clues that take them through Alaska and eastern Russia where they encounter the Russian mob. A trail of contraband diamond and gold leads back to the US.
