A stalker is loose in the city...Sergeant Katie MacLeod is struggling with her newly-appointed position. Being an officer was infinitely easier than leading them, and she misses the action. Meanwhile, her team is tasked to assist Detective Fergus Dow on a protection detail as a local celebrity, long a critic of RCPD, is being stalked. Katie must juggle this stalking with all the fast-breaking needs of patrolling River City on graveyard shift, and somehow manage to keep the situation under control... every night.
