Murders don't repeat themselves. But they do rhyme.

Blake Larsen knows pain and trauma more than most cops. Her own parents died in a brutal murder-suicide when she was just a teen. She's spent her entire life believing her father was a senseless murderer.

One week ago, her elderly neighbors were found slaughtered. The scene was staged to look exactly the same as the night two decades ago that stole Blake's future from her. And she doesn't believe in coincidence.

As Blake dives into the case, every clue seems to lead back to her own haunted history. Her reputation in town is thrown into the gutter, and violence knocks on her front door. Any normal person would give up.
