A young woman's body is found dumped in the Essex countryside. Ex-military policeman PI Frank Palmer is accustomed to death, but this is different. The body is his former girlfriend. He knows only one way to deal with this disturbing and brutal murder; find the killers. Meanwhile, his colleague, Investigative reporter Riley Gavin is doing a profile of controversial businessman `Kim' Al-Bashir.
