No Greater Love

One year ago a single horrific act of violence shook the foundation of the Stevens Island community, and changed Isobel Stone's life. Once a straight A student with a bright future ahead of her, Isobel now finds herself struggling to get through school and the most mundane daily activities. Even spending time with her friends and family seems overwhelming at times. The only bright moments in her life are the times when she's able to visit her boyfriend, Parker. Though the guilt of his incarceration weighs heavy on her shoulders, Parker has no regrets for accepting the plea-deal that put him in a state correctional facility for the actions he took to save her that day, and simply looks forward to getting back to his life when he's released.Fortified by his return, Isobel throws herself back into her old life as well, and for a time things seem to be back to normal.
