The more Lassiter looks into the background of Compu-Mate's subscriber list, the less he likes what he sees. Now Lassiter and his associate, retired coroner Dr. Charlie Riggs, hope to find their man from a printout of silicon suspects. They soon find themselves on the trail of a psychopath that propels them from the mean streets of Miami to an insane asylum in London and the very byways where the infamous Jack the Ripper once stalked his prey.
