Narcissistic Reaction

The Countdown Killer is still at large, and another murder has Janelle and Jayson Alexander playing catch up. She's now an editor on the crime beat and he's moved up in the ranks to a lieutenant at the Detective's Bureau, but neither were aware they were under constant observation until it was too late. With the recent adoption of Janelle's niece and nephew as well as the birth of her first child, Jayson will do anything to keep Janelle far away from the action, but his defensive choices could get people killed.
