Evil, it seems, will not be destroyed. In this final installment of the Dark World trilogy, Queen Malus returns with a vengeance, having inhabited the body of her granddaughter, Ever. Harboring an ancient secret, she bides her time until her ultimate plot is unveiled—rendering her unstoppable. Kane, unaware of his daughter's possession, continues his quest to save the realm from eternal darkness. He must acquire all the scattered scrolls and bring the reluctant races together in order to reawaken the pyramid to save not only themselves, but a dying angel that holds the destiny of every creature in Dark World. Fate, however, is on a dire mission to save herself from a new monster that threatens to overshadow what fragment of her soul still dwells within. If she cannot survive the labyrinth, and retrieve her soul from the Guf, she will lose the last of herself—forever.
