My War Love

A classic mainstream novel of five people in their twenties: 3 men (a security expert, an ex-Marine, and a playboy genius); and 2 women (an orphan street girl, and a U.S. senator's daughter). The frame story involves a political conspiracy to amass billions in war profits through a scheme acknowledged to be against the American national interest. All five protagonists are caught up in this scheme from different and conflicting positions. Meanwhile, the security expert is torn between the street girl and the senator's daughter, herself torn between the security expert and his best friend, the brilliant playboy.
