My Stories

Each story in this collection describes an isolated individual searching for a unique place in life. The major focus of each narrative is the main character's ongoing thoughts and feelings, and the necessary struggle endured in resolving the conflict with the outside world that these passions evoke. There are two sections in My Stories, each with its own tone and rhythm. "Yearning" has a serious, sobering feeling throughout; and a child-like fantasy permeates the narratives in "Sunshine." There is a strong sense of the abstract throughout My Stories because of the explorations of these hidden inner forces that determine our decisions and our lives.
