The first decade after the end of civilization was a time of terror, starvation and cruelty. Those few that somehow survived the Cleansing, the nuclear strikes, the plagues and the Dying Times, then had to survive the wars. The Crazy War, the Religious War and the weirdest of all, the Mutie War. Now, three and a half decades after the 'End of the World', the 'Muties' are once again on the rise, only this time they are banding together under one charismatic leader - a leader that not only wants to be King of the Mutie Lands in the dry, desolate south, but ruler of the prosperous, food-rich Five Kingdoms in the north.
