About This Book

Peter Blackstone, a Denver Private Investigator, received a phone call from Josh Garrett, a man he knew in college. Josh asked Peter if he would meet him at a café in downtown Denver. He didn’t say why he wanted to meet Peter; but Peter thought there was something wrong. When Peter arrived at the café, there were police at the café, and a gurney was being wheeled out of the café with someone on it. He was told that Josh had been shot and taken to a local hospital. Peter rushed to the hospital where he found Josh had been taken to surgery. Although the surgery was successful and Josh was expected to recover, he died during the night. It was discovered that Josh had been murdered while in the recovery room. Peter decided to investigate Josh’s murder. It wasn’t long before he discovered there was much more to it than the death of Josh. His investigation led to Dillon, Colorado, the wooded foothills of Denver, and to some very dangerous people who didn’t like him investigating Josh’s death. Murder in the Dark of Night is the fourth Peter Blackstone Mystery in the series.
