About This Book

It's Christmastime and there's a treasure hunt underway in Buxley, Ohio.

Private investigator Jo Ravens doesn't have time for Christmas shopping, decorating, or putting up a tree. She's busy running surveillance on a laundromat, and she's keeping an eye on Buxley's new mayor. He's secretly looking for someone or something, and Jo intends to find out what's he up to.

Both jobs take a back seat when a strange woman shows up in town at the bookstore, and a short time later, Jo discovers a body in the backroom. The death is quickly ruled an accident, but Jo suspects foul play.

Take the numerous suspects, mix them with the Buxley legend of stolen Confederate gold, and you have a romp through a week with Jo as she attempts to prove the murder, overcome her fright of Glenn's basement, and help open Estelle's Emporium of Wonders.

Murder Between the Covers is a humorous mystery.
