It would have been a rather boring affair if not for the fact that the mayor of a nearby town is in attendance. That mayor is none other than her good friend Darcy Sweet! Just as the conference is about to start however, a shocking discovery is made: a man in a gray suit lies motionless on the stage, his lifeless gaze fixed on the rafters, blood on the side of his head. Eva's heart sinks. Amid the shock and confusion, she realizes that her reporter's instinct and Darcy's intuition are about to be tested by yet another mysterious murder.
