Mrs. Modine and the Case of the Thanksgiving Turkey Murder

Mrs. Modine seems to have a gift for finding trouble and Thanksgiving holidays are not exempt from her gift. She has a big heart so she invites quite a number of guests to her annual dinner which means she keeps having to get a bigger turkey for them. Unfortunately, the butcher is a man that she went to school with and is not one of her favorite former classmates. But it seems he is not a favorite of someone else in Jefferson as he ends up as dead as the turkeys he is selling. The list of suspects seems to grow by leaps and bounds but so is the number of dead bodies connected to the original murder. Mrs. Modine is determined to get to the bottom of the homicides and fix a fabulous turkey dinner all while dealing with her children's dramas and flexing her new dating skills.
