Trial lawyer and former Dolphins linebacker Jake Lassiter feels obliged to defend the slimy, mob-connected Florio in the ensuing wrongful death suit--partially because Lassiter is sleeping with his new client's wife. But the accused has his hands buried in even nastier stuff than the suspiciously timely demise of a nosy "tree-hugger."
