Its value is immeasurable, so when it is stolen from the vault of a small Catholic monastery and college, local, state, and federal law enforcement converge on the peaceful Oklahoma campus. To add insult to injury, the college's beloved president, Fr. Xavier Kettering dies within hours of the theft. Is it just a tragic coincidence? Or did someone set out to create a diversion in order to steal the monstrance? Initial suspicion falls on the museum's former curator, a devastatingly handsome Benedictine monk named Brother Michelangelo.
