Middle school is a balancing act!

Seventh grade couldn't be off to a better start: Sara's joined drama club and made the volleyball team, she has great friends and a growing crush, and now that she's thirteen -- officially a teenager! -- she has increased responsibilities at home.

But Sara starts to struggle... Because of her volleyball schedule, she's not cast in the play. And due to her commitment to drama club, she's benched during the big game. To make matters worse, her crush, Hector, only seems to talk to her when he needs help in math class (and her friends are noticing the pattern). And to top it off, her parents pick and choose when to treat her like a kid or a grown-up.
