Miss McGuire Is Missing

A bus tour of Yorkshire's quaint villages doesn't top Ben Hammond's list of great adventures for the newly retired. Especially with his wife, Rosa, and his ex-cop sister-in-law, Anna, leading the way. However, Ben's interest is piqued when he spots a familiar face on the coach: Miss McGuire, his former math teacher. But before he can reacquaint himself with the little old lady, she disappears.

Questioning reveals anomalies that don't add up, as the trio delve deeper into a mystery that quickly turns sinister. Retracing the coach route by car, they spot an elderly man being abducted from a similar tour bus. Add in some shady characters from a local pub and a string of suspicious deaths at a nearby nursing home, and you have a shocking tale of murder for profit.

Surrounded by danger, Ben's retirement looks like it may be very short lived….
