About This Book

A dipsomaniac writer working for the expansive Hollywood publicity machine in the 1920's is assigned to write a pack of shimmering and uplifting lies about child-star Robbie Roi. As it turns out Robbie is somewhat of an enigma, even at the age of thirty-eight, he manages to play children thanks to his small stature, layers of pancake make up, and the rudimentary technology of the silent era. While writing a puff piece that lauds Robbie for establishing an orphanage that only admits boys, the scribe witnesses an incident that would make all those innuendos about Michael Jackson' seem like child's play.
