Mencik's Thorn

A group of carefully trained terrorists, masquerading as animal rights activists, along with an unknown source of unlimited funding, initiate a conspiracy to implant selected patient groups with a unique carcinogen. Why they are doing this is not clear, but it seems that their goal, ultimately, is financial gain. A disgraced former graduate student may be the only one who can stop their deadly scheme, but he too is drawn into their web of deception. With the help of a beautiful geneticist who is dangerously close to the source of the evil, he uncovers a plan that may change the science of oncology as we know it. But worse still, he discovers his own past may reveal the key players of this sinister game.
