There is an urban legend about a one-armed man with a mechanical arm that ends in a hook. He stalks young lovers in lovers' lane and tries to get inside the car.

In McMurdo Sound, in the vastness of the frozen Antarctica, Brian is going to tell a variation of the urban legend, not knowing it will let loose something at the government compound that will end in broken minds and bloody murder.
