About This Book

A large, Catholic monastery, which is veiled by a sordid history of deceit, murder and suicide, sets the stage for a present-day string of murders committed on the monastery grounds. As a veteran New York police officer, Detective Giorgio Salvatori moved his family to this small town in Southern California to get away from the dirt and crime of a large city. But when a dead woman is found hanging by her bra strap in the supply closet of a local monastery, he suspects his life is about to change. His suspicions are confirmed when two more murders take place and the ghost of a young boy who committed suicide back in the 1940s appears to communicate a message of some sort. All of this is set against a deeply personal loss that almost brings Detective Salvatori to his knees.
