Magician Number One

Grin the Cheat knows a scam when he sees one, and there’s no scam bigger than The Royal Order of Magnificent Magi. When the Grandest Magus himself offers him the chance to save the world, Grin doesn’t believe a word of it. After all, if the safety of the entire planet is at stake from supernatural forces, why don’t the magi use their own fantastical powers to put an end to the otherworldly threat?

These charlatans may be expert at misdirection, manipulation and deception, but it takes one to know one. They’ll have to do a lot better than their normal box of tricks to get one over on Grin the Cheat.
