May 2011...Someone has predicted the second coming of Christ. For the small Oklahoma town of Mackleberry Ridge, it is not the return of Christ that rocks the scene. It is the return of Val Mackleberry. For ten years, Val Mackleberry has worked to create the life she thought she wanted. She made strides to be better than those she left behind, to prove to herself that she was not as crazy as the rest of the women in her family. Somewhere along the way, she lost who she was.
