Love Canal

NATE: Sometimes everything goes wrong. For Nate, it's losing the wife he lived with for two decades and being down-sized from the job he's held since he was twenty-three. Feeling hopeless, he decides a road trip is as good a way as any other to put it all behind him. MINA: Twenty years ago, Love Canal was a place she couldn't leave behind fast enough. But now, despite the things it robbed her of — her children, her husband, essentially her whole life — she's back in her old Love Canal house because it's the last place she can remember being happy. THE MEETING: When Nate's car breaks down in the middle of the night, he has no idea where he is, and Mina's light is the only one he can see.
