Losing Patients

Still haunted by his sister's disappearance, Griffin Fitzpatrick uncovers more about her last day at home and things his family kept from him. But he can't focus on that as much as he'd like because his veterinarian needs his help. She's lost three of her patients' owners in the last month. One was an accident, one was a suicide, and the last was murder.

The victims had a dog, a cat, and a ferret. The only apparent commonality to the deaths is her office, but as Griffin digs into the crimes in detail, he soon finds more things in common…including the fact that he could be next on the list of dead owners.
