A different kind of serial killer walks among the millions of New Yorkers. When he begins targeting new mothers, even the most hardened people in the city are shocked.
Detectives Napoli and Franklin start the investigation of the senseless crimes. The investigators discover all of the victims gave birth at the same hospital. They also notice a white teddy bear left behind in the babies' cribs by the killer.
With the information, Napoli and Franklin compile a list of suspects. As the murders continue, they whittle it down to three: George Santos, a nurse; Dr. Samuel Woodson, the obstetrician; and Edgar Martinez, an orderly. Napoli and Franklin delve into each man's background to see if he can be responsible for the vicious killings. Can they stop him before another victim meets her demise?
