Lexie Maxwell is back at it again. School has started and after winning her town's short story contest, she's trying to come up with a new mystery to write about. Except, she's drawing a blank. Nothing seems to happen around her neighborhood. Until...two new kids, a boy and a girl, move in down the block. The girl is Isabella and her and Lexie soon become friends, despite the fact Isabella is a little mean to Lexie's best friend, Emily. But Max, the boy, is a little strange. And now Lexie has a whole new mystery to figure out...her favorite necklace is missing and she thinks Max is the culprit
