Levels Of Deception

The murder of a professor at Seattle's Burke Museum and the theft of valuable fossils from its archives, has Thea asking questions - questions that her new boyfriend Paul Hudson neatly dodges. What would he know, anyway? He's two states away teaching a paleontology field class. Then she learns Paul is implicated not only in the thefts but the murder as well. Incensed, she turns to Paul for an explanation, only to be stonewalled. Convinced he needs her help, she investigates and lands in the hospital from an attempt on her life. Terrified for her safety, her family packs her off to Paul for protection. What she finds in the dusty hills of Montana is far from a refuge. The levels of deception are deeper and more personal than she could have imagined.
