Carly Mitchum was serious about being a cop, so the hassling she got from her male colleagues might have been no more than an occupational hazard--if only Rance Knight hadn't seemed to share their views. Rance wasn't just her boss, he was the kind of man she could easily fall for, so it hurt to know he wanted her off the force.
