Lousy fashion designer Margery Rhoades loved to workout. Being rich and well bred. She thought it was her duty to look good for the little people. As a bloody dumbbell laid on the locker-room floor, Margery never guessed that going to a gym, could actually kill you. When coffee sleuth and all around sassafras Ethel Cunningham, gets asked by hunky bad boy detective Vince Carpino to help out with his latest murder case. She reluctantly agrees, but soon gets sucked into the world of New York elite, blood racing intrigue, and worst yet, actually having to workout at a gym.
