Kicking the Embers

Sam doesn't think he has another bestseller in him. So when a Vietnamese War veteran offers him a ton of money to write his story, Sam thinks he's found the answer to his creative and financial problems. Mr. Lan turns out to be a die-hard communist with reparations on his mind for the lies told in Sam's first book. Having sold his creative soul, Sam finds himself locked in conflict with an adversary who has very different ideas about how history should be told.
