Just Married Romance

Comic books were mostly about humor and action and adventure. While comic books appealed to all children, they mostly were a draw to little boys. In 1947 that changed when the first romance comic book was published. While it was made to appeal to everyone, it mostly appealed to females. The genre was successful for decades. Charlton Comics was one of the more successful publishers in this area. Just Married was one of their more successful books. they published. From 1958 to the middle of the 1970's they published over one hundred issues. Many of the early issues were written by Joe Gill. A select few of them have been reprinted in this book.
