Just a Favor

All Piper asks of Life is to let him be, to let him live in peace on his converted coastal freighter the Lost Soul. This boat, his home, is anchored off a small island in Thailand named Koh Samui. Piper wants to forget the world and the tragic part he's played in it. His only two friends are the beautiful Boon and husband Tony who own the twelve bungalows on the beach of Bophut Bay, the same bay off which his boat rocks gently in the Koh Samui breezes. Existence, while not great, is buried deep enough behind Piper's barricades to convince him everything is fine, no changes needed. Ah, but you know Life never appreciates being avoided. So when Life finds Piper hiding from it on his boat, it decides to sneak back in under the guise of someone asking for 'just a favor'. And when that someone is the top Thai cop on the island, well, refusing him is not an option.
