Judgment

Adam is nearly immune to pain and injury. Grace is a sword wielding Glamor Queen. They hunt monsters. Not the law-abiding ones. Just the out of control ones. Untethered zombies, blood-lusted vampires, pain-maddened werewolves, ego-driven necromancers. Those sort of Once Dead and Spiral Touch that give all the others a bad name. But Adam and Grace don't do it for fame or glory. They do it to pay the rent (and in Grace's case, the bar tab). And they're really good at hunting monsters. Some think they're too good.

When the pair decide (with a little push from Adam's wife) to help a woman and her kids get back on their feet, they run headlong into a dangerous revenge scheme meant to neutralize Adam forever and make the way safe for the resurreciont an ancient destroyer capable of undoing the existence of every vampire, werebeast, and Spiral-touched creature on the planet.
