Jake is a young boy living in Australia who loves adventure. After returning home from visiting his relatives in Norway for Christmas, and meeting Santa Claus at the North Pole, Jake goes looking for his pals, eager to tell them all about the adventure. He and his best mate, Cooper, find Ken and Ben, their aboriginal friends, at the house of Grandpa Lionel, a tribal elder, listening to traditional stories from the Dreamtime. When Jake tells Grandpa Lionel about his adventures in Norway, the old man, sensing Jake's fatigue from jet-lag, decides to send the boy on another adventure, back to the Dreamtime, and places him in a trance, as the other boys watch. In his altered state of consciousness, Jake observes some of the many stories of Australian aboriginal legend and lore as they are played out before him, and learns several life lessons.
