It's Only One Night

It was only one night. Just one night...But then it wasn't. It wasn't meant to be.When we met at the bar, I knew he was the one I'd waited for. For one night, I'd be wild and crazy and discard the V-card I'd clung to for years. But an emergency kept us apart, and I inadvertently ghosted him before we could get together. I was sure I'd never see him again. Fast forward two days later and there he is. At the front of class. It doesn't matter that he's assisting the professor. He still wants our night together. He wants all my nights. Even if we could get in trouble. Even if we should just chalk it up to insanity and just be friends.Can we do that, though? Just be friends? I guess the real question is, how long before we can't?
