About This Book

Little Johnny, as a matter of fact, had another business to attend to. First he had to get rid of the woman he had once called "Mother" so that she wouldn't be able to interfere with his plans. She would never have let him leave, especially after what happened at the train station. Amazingly enough, Johnny didn't have much memory before the train accident. A few memories would never disappear: His father and the fearsome belt…the repeated lashings…over and over, leaving welts, drawing blood. Of course, he wasn't about to just leave without a backup plan. Somehow when Esmer had revived him, Johnny had powers that he didn't even comprehend. He had also somehow developed a sharp mind that thought ahead. Little Johnny rang the doorbell of the man he hadn't seen in almost a year.
