An accident on a stormy night set Lauren and her friends on an adventure they never would have imagined possible. Lauren Moore and her friends were no strangers to fantasy. They'd grown up lounged around her uncle's den: an intrepid group of adventurers capable of dealing with any situation – no matter where, when, or how fantastic the encounter might have seemed to someone with no experience with role playing games. As much as they loved Jack Moore and the games that served as their go-to escape from reality, all the time they'd spent gaming together would seem like nothing as they embarked on their latest adventure. Of course, it might have been different if they'd been given the chance to prepare... Or at least been given a choice...
