An old sawmill, one tragic death, and an upset woman. A rookie officer fails his mission and is berated by his Captain, being relieved of his duties. This officer takes matters in his own hands and returns to the sawmill, the place where he failed to obtain the information on the missing persons from. He befriends a female companion and she joins him in his quest to uncover the truth, regarding what really happened all those years ago.
