      About This Book

      The action takes place in the early nineteen hundreds in the mountains surrounding a small cattle town. This is a story of an encounter with a Mountain Man that leads one to the discovery of a world thought only to exist in stories told around the a campfire and at social events. At home on his mountain, the Mountain Man plants a seed as he shares the hard rugged life on the mountain that later turns fear and heartache into joy and eternal love. This story will cause some that read it to laugh and others to cry, but all will enjoy their journey up the mountain.
