About This Book

The Rise of the Phoenix is the first book in a series of books. It is an adventurous, full action, mysterious, and magical love story full of farriers, shape shifters, vampires, werewolves, and witches. Imi is a young girl that wakes up one day not knowing where and, more importantly, who she is, at least not until after she was surveying her father's library and uncovers the ancient book and a collection of yellowing letters. Imi (Imara Stoglin) is a Dhampiretwich (human vampire witch) that can see the future, change things with her mind, possess magical powers, and control the elements; though she does not know this. All she knows for sure is that her family is strange and getting stranger by the seconds. Imi is struggling with her own identity when she falls hopelessly in love with the very thing that she might end up killing. When Imi finds herself in a mystical world that she never knew existed, she is drawn closer to her own destiny. Then she suddenly realizes, "When you finally meet your destiny, it is like nothing you have ever experienced. You instantly know that this is the part of you that has always been missing. Like the rise of the phoenix when eyes meet eyes, you know you are his and he is yours for all of eternity."
