Twenty four year old Memphis native Alexis Wilson is tired of the b.s and games from the men in her Orange Mound neighborhood and from the men of Tennessee as a whole, so she decides to relocate to Chicago and start a new life. She is hell bent on making a name for herself in her career as a hair stylist. Deciding that all men are full of it and are all the same, she decides to give up on dating and focus on more important things. One day she is out having lunch with her aunt and runs into Diego and is instantly attracted to him. But figuring he is like every other man out there, she gives him a hard time until he shows her that he is unlike any other man she has ever encountered. Can Alexis give Diego a fair chance or will she remain single for the rest of her life?
