I Went Walking: A Story of Love

This story takes place in Hawaii, the island of Oahu where Manny grew up. While on vacation at Sunset Beach, Oahu, he meets seven young boys and one girl, Danny, who is the leader of the boys. They teach Manny that he flew, and when he realizes that he can, indeed fly, he teaches them to fly. They go on a journey of love and transform themselves to become persons of nobility. They find ancient treasure, hidden from the little Beings called Menehunes. As child growing up in Hawaii, there was much myth and lore told about them. They find millions in volcanic created stones. There are a couple of confrontations with vulgar-like bullies of which the author, Manny, uses gentle scare tactics to intimidate the bullies, and thus, no physical confrontation occurs.
