She also succeeds in rescuing the Demon King's mother, Dernière, who was being held captive in Soleil, the Land of Humans, who are at war with the demons. Dernière's missing husband, Shinichiro, is also a human. Together with Dernière, Akari, Gran and their children climb the World Tree in search of him and at the top find El Dorado, the Land of Celestials.
