Andi has finally achieved her dream: to serve as crew on a colonization vessel bound for a new planet. As part of the ship's skeleton crew, it's her job to keep the passengers safe in cryosleep for the long hyperspace journey. Despite her unusual sensitivity to hyperdrives and the presence of her longstanding rival/ crush, Andi is ready to prove herself—and perhaps be the first to discover extraterrestrial life.But the journey itself soon takes a dangerous turn as Andi's wish becomes a nightmare.
