Hunting a Detroit Tiger

It is early spring. 1920, and all Mickey Rawlings wants is a .250 batting average, twenty stolen bases, and a regular place in the Tigers' lineup. But when Emmett Siever, an old-time baseball player trying to organize a players' union, is killed at a meeting of the Industrial Workers of the World. Mickey finds himself accused of committing the crime in self-defense. Now, with someone out seeking revenge for Siever's murder and the baseball owners putting the heat on him to speak out publicly against the unions. Mickey is caught in a squeeze play. And if he doesn't find the real killer soon, he's fast on his way to becoming one very unpopular guy--almost as unpopular as the irascible Ty Cobb....
