When T-Rock Hernandez is tossed off a ten-story building, not much is made of it because he's homeless. Oddly, he had a life insurance policy amounting to $1,000,000. Red Stick Insurance asks Niki Dupre to investigate before paying this large amount, but she runs into more trouble than she expected. It seems that collecting payouts is so lucrative that the ones involved are willing to do anything to protect their interests... including the murder of a private investigator. Treading a dangerous path, can Niki outsmart the criminals and bring them to justice?
